Together, we will integrate strategies and skills from several therapeutic approaches to support you in bringing about positive change. The therapies and theories I follow are humanistic in perspective. Each has its specialised ability and life-changing ways of being in the world. For example, Alfred Adler's theories of self-acceptance and separation of tasks can provide a way of thinking that is deeply liberating. Like Adler, I believe we are less affected by the events that happen in our lives (which we cannot often control) and more by how we think about those events. For example, what do we dwell on? Do we believe we can survive rough patches and even learn from them?
