My Story
I'm a registered counsellor and former educator whose work is grounded in presence, care, and deep respect for each person's lived experience. My practice is collaborative and relational — focused on creating a space where you feel seen, steady, and supported.

With a Master's in the field of Guidance and Counselling and as a member of the Australian Counselling Association (ACA), my work is grounded in both formal training and lived experience. My background spans more than 30 years across health, education, and community settings — including roles in nursing, teaching, international consultancy, and family support. I've learned the value of presence, care, and connection in every role I've held.
My Approach
I'm an integrative therapist
I help you make sense of your story and the patterns that have shaped it. Together, we'll explore the threads and moments that brought you here—and how they continue to weave through your life, your relationships, and the choices you make.
Our work draws on evidence-informed approaches, grounded in Internal Family Systems and mind-body practices, to create a pathway that's responsive to your needs and hopes for change.

My Practice
Growth and connection guide every part of my practice. I believe healing grows through relationship, and that therapy works best when grounded in respect, collaboration and trust. Headstrong was created with this belief at its core — to me, it's about choosing to show up, even when it's hard, and trusting that healing begins not in perfection, but in presence.
I keep my caseload intentionally small, so I can offer each person, couple, or family the care and attention their story deserves. This means availability can be limited at times.
As part of my professional membership with the Australian Counselling Association, I undertake ongoing professional development and regular clinical supervision to support ethical, reflective, and up-to-date practice.
